10 Reasons Why Marvel Won’t Give ANamor Movie

7. Thor Accent

Since Namor came back to comics in the mid-’60s, writers have composed Namor with pseudo-Shakespearean dialogue. This can be seen by his peculiar call to war, “Imperius Rex,” and in his everyday conversations, in which he is as prone to cite Shakespeare. There’s nothing innately amiss with pseudo-Shakespearean dialogue, yet with regards to superhero film, you’ve officially heard it. What would a Namor motion picture resemble? It would practically resemble the first Thor motion picture more or less. Namor would be Thor 2.0, which would likely be an improvement over the real Thor spin-off, yet wouldn’t precisely send audience running to films.

8. Likeness to Aquaman

One of the essential reasons we’ll never see a Namor motion picture is that Aquaman is turning out first. Namor is a super-strong half-human, half-Atlantean who can telepathically converse with ocean life. Furthermore, Aquaman is the same. Each of them is the ruler of Atlantis, each of them has had an irritable association with people, and whatnot. Generally as Marvel has no enthusiasm for making a Namor that would bear uncomfortable correlations with their own particular films. They really have no enthusiasm for making a motion picture that will appear as though they’re ripping off their principle true to life rivals.
