2. Association With The Star Wars Universe
Rebels is a piece of a much larger picture, and the show understands that with amazing guest stars like Lando Calrissian, references and a lot of Easter Eggs. The team’s future is not perfectly clear as of now. However, even that hasn’t prevented fans from assuming that Ezra Bridger will eventually be Snoke, from The Force Awakens.
The show expands on things that Star Wars fans need. For example, we have the recent exploration into the Force, vigorously concentrating on aspects of the Jedi and the Sith. Furthermore, the cross-guard lightsaber is a brilliant case of this, which showed up in Episode 7.
Utilized by Kylo Ren as a part of the film, the lightsaber dates back to a design utilized amid the ‘Great Scourge of Malachor.’ This was a fight that began many years back. In addition to this, who finds their own one of a kind cross-guard lightsaber on the Malachor? Well, none other than Ezra Bridger.
There are connections everywhere in Rebels, with events that result in what we see even in the original trilogy. It’s an absolute watch for Star Wars fans. Furthermore, with appearances from Lando, Leia and minor characters like Wedge Antilles, it’s simply wrong to miss it.
1.Narration
A standout amongst Star Wars is its narration, and Rebels is an incredible case of this. Developing in quality since it began, Rebels gives fans some heavenly character development and minutes, the greater part of which incorporate Ezra’s voyage. When Rebels debuted, Ezra was only a young, forlorn orphan who has since transformed into a capable Jedi padawan. Furthermore, every character in Rebels has their own backstory, with a few episodes altogether devoted to them. Sabine is one such example, who gets some perfect extension with an episode about her fellow-kind, i.e. the bounty chasing Mandalorians.
Rebels figures out how to mix action, drama and humour all into one with its extraordinary narration. There are minutes with roars of laughter, and battle scenes that’ll leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
