There are a lot of superheroes who are really powerful, they should be feared but because of how they are they are more loved and respected by the fans. Here are some of the superheroes, who might not be the most physically powerful, but if these superheroes turned evil, it sure would be a matter of great concern.
1. Ant-Man
If Ant-Man were to become a bad guy, it would have been impossible for someone to detect him and considering the damage he could cause being small would just be remarkable in a very bad way. Nobody would actually see him coming and he would have already done the damage.
2. Batman
Batman is a very dark character and is just one bad day away from becoming the Bad guy. There is a line that he does not cross, but if he does, God help anyone who would cross his path, because if he puts all his determination and will into destroying the mankind, he surely will. Batman would become unstoppable if he turns evil.
3. Scarlet Witch
We only saw a glimpse of what Wanda can do when she is on the dark side in Age of Ultron. Of course, she came to senses when she saw what Ultron had in mind for the people of earth, but if she decides to wage a war against mankind, there is no stopping her. She could make people fight against each other and would not have to do a thing.
4. Cyborg
The son of Doctor Silas Stone, when comes in contact with an alien, who comes out when his parents are experimenting is left mortally wounded. This situation results in his father using the powers of the mother box to save his son’s life, which gives him an enhanced vision, durability, super strength and cybernetic powers. He can get into the internet and reek a lot of havoc.
5. Captain America
Captain America was recently announced as an agent of HYDRA. This has to be the greatest shock to all the Marvel fans out there, telling people that Cap is and has always been a HYDRA agent, not just that but also a Nazi. Fans, as well as the people in the Marvel universe, are all enraged by the decision of this editors. All this time, the war hero was siding with the bad guys and neither his team nor the people in and out of the universe had any idea. Now that he’s at the dark side, fans are more engaged than they are scared, but oh.. they have every reason to be scared.
6. Martian Manhunter
J’Onn J’Onnz, the Martian Manhunter, is one of those superheroes who is a lot more powerful than he lets on. He probably is the most powerful DC hero and if he turns evil, with the powers like telepathy, shape-shifting, intangibility, super-strength and turning into a freaking dragon, mankind along with other Superheroes could come to an end.
7. The Spectre
The Specter is one of the terrifying anti-superheroes from the comics. Someone who is actually the spirit of revenge, the Specter received his powers after he died. This happened in this way that, he once was to be at an engagement, where on his way, three criminals but him in a barrel, pour cement on him and let him drown in the river, where he dies. There he is met with a voice of the Darkness asking him if he wanted to exact revenge on the culprits. Since that day, he is someone who is nothing but a soul, seeking justice for others. No one can even touch him, what happens if he goes bad is unthinkable.
8. Black Bolt
The king of the Royal Inhumans family is probably the strongest of them all. He can cause a lot of damage by just whispering a single word, so he keeps his mouth shut voluntarily. But, if he goes rouge, he could literally demolish anyone who stands in his path.
9. Orion
He is one of the New Gods of the DC Universe. Orion is someone who has even been able to go toe to toe against Wonder Woman and Superman. Not just that he’s said to be as powerful as Darkseid and can even obliterate planets. You wouldn’t want a God like this to go to the dark side.
10. Iron Man
Iron Man has to be the most full of himself sarcastic character that the Marvel Universe has had to offer. Billionaire Philanthropist Playboy, Tony Stark armors himself in his own creation to fight off villains and score some chicks.
This didn’t happen so normally, in the comics a terrorist named Wong Chu is the one who activated a boobie trap because of which a bomb explodes and shrapnel is about to reach Tony’s chest, to stop it from travelling to his heart and to escape Tony creates a suit which also gave him the idea of becoming ‘Iron Man’. Dude has more money than almost anyone on the planet and can have hundreds of suits which can do some crazy shit.
11. Wolverine
Wolverine might be one of the good guys, but that famous temper of his already scares a lot of his X-Men teammates from time to time. He already is a killer but if that killing is done against the good guys, it would be a bloodbath if someone tries to take him on.
12. Sentry
People have every right to be scared of Sentry if he were to be a villain. Having the power of a million exploding suns, Sentry is a force not to be reckoned with. In the 2010 miniseries, Osborn strikes again taking control over the govt. and killing all those who oppose him. One of his allies Sentry is manipulated to take control of Asgard, where he is faced by the Olympian warrior, Ares. Both have a duel and in the end, Sentry rips Ares open leaving all his internal organs everywhere. This was too dark for Marvel’s taste. Now imagine him being a full-time villain.
13. Ghost Rider
Johnny Blaze is somehow able to own the demon inside him, but if that demon is ever let loose, the souls of all the people would turn to ash. He is already very close to becoming the bad guy normally, and one bad moment could entirely change the game and let the demon take over. He already looks terrifying, along with that, his deeds would also be really threatening if he becomes the bad guy for real.
14. The Flash
Remember Flashpoint? This was nothing but a young Barry Allen, feeling lonely one evening missing his mother, so he goes back in time, prevents her murder from happening which sends ripples across the timeline creating major changes. Changes like Bruce dying and his father becoming Batman, an all out war of the Amazons and the Atlanteans resulting in a global crisis. Now just imagine, a guy who can do this, create timelines, run so fast as to destroy the anti-monitor, if he went bad, oh boy!! not even Batman alone could stop him.
15. The Hulk
Hulk is already a giant threat for everyone around him as he tends to lose control from time to time. We have only seen glimpses of the destruction he can cause if he loses control. If he utilizes his full smashing power against the people of earth, there is no one who would be left standing on this planet. Hulk becoming evil is the worst nightmare anyone could ever have.
16. Doctor Manhattan
Doctor John Osterman, a nuclear physicist was a really humble, kind human being who was one day locked in the intrinsic chamber, where he died in a matter of seconds. Some days later he started reappearing. First as a nervous system, then as a skeletal body and then as muscle structure. He now is an all powerful cosmic being, who is far beyond the space time concept. He can be at many places at once and can be from one place to another in an iota of a second. Dude is unkillable. You don’t want him to go bad.
17. Charles Xavier
The strongest mind to exist on earth is none other than Charles Xavier’s. If he is turned to the Dark Side which almost happened in the recent X-Men movie, there would be apocalypse on earth as Xavier could make anyone do anything he wants and there is no stopping him.
18. Superman
Superman has always been an icon of truth and justice, and due to his boy-scout nature, it’s sometimes easy to overlook how much he’s constantly holding back. But what if he does not. The Injustice storyline is entirely based on Superman going rogue. The mayhem that was caused on earth was unthinkable. He could literally take control of an entire planet and do whatever he likes with the powers he has. If he does not hold back, he could easily destroy an entire planet.
19. Doctor Strange
After meeting with a deadly accident, the post which Dr. Steven Strange is unable to use his hands, he goes to Nepal and trains under Monks, where he gets these mystical powers. He is the biggest user of magic and the most powerful sorcerer in the universe, who has altered time and even cheated death. If he were to be someone like Dormammu, well, God help us all.
20. Raven
Being the daughter of an inter-dimensional Demon sure has its perks. Raven, the daughter of Trigon is an immensely powerful user of magic, her skills also include healing, shadow manipulation, foresight and transforming herself into a demon. Sometimes her powers take over her good side too, and she becomes a big problem for her team. If that were to be the case forever, she’ll be killing us all in an instant.
