12 Things about Gal Gadot– Presenting the New ‘Wonder Woman’

9. Good Role Model

Gadot has many feathers to her hat. She’s an accomplished actor, model, trained military person, businesswoman, mother, wife and a wonder-ful person. And, she has done all of these at the age of just 29 years. Another reason why she fits the bill is because Wonder Woman was a known good role model for young girls to look up. Gadot is nothing short of a good role model to follow.
Gadot wants to be a positive role model for girls everywhere in general and for one in particular, her four-year-old daughter, Alma. Ideas such as bravery, capability, etc. are one she values a lot and she wants to share these to girls.

10. She wants more Female Superheroes

Comic book fandom and superhero genre in particular has been traditionally a male dominated domain. There has been plenty of discussion about the dearth of female superheroes in the current cinematic landscape. An important and relevant point noted in these discussions is the fact that even among those few that are present and accounted for, not one has yet have a movie of her own.
The scene is set to be changed for the better in 2017 with the release of Wonder Woman. For the first time, a female comic book character will be the first lead role in a live-action movie. Gadot feels strongly about the above mentioned cinemascape and opines that there needs to be more female superheroes. In a tweet, she said –
@shadowofmydoubt It feels great! Being a mother, it’s very important that #WonderWoman comes back to life, we need more female superheros.
