Marvel’s Avengers is the biggest thing in Hollywood right now. Sure DC is trying to catch up with them but they are the ones who are at the top. Considering their powers combined, here are the DC villains who could demolish them in a fight.
1. Mongul
Mongul has the ultimate potential to go toe-to-toe with Marvel’s Avenger. He can blow an entire planet into bits and can make Superman tickle his brain before considering himself as the strongest in the DC universe. His unremitting killing style makes him one of biggest threats for Avengers.
2. Sinestro
Sinestro was the greatest Green Lantern until he wore the yellow ring. His remorseless nature and ability to generate the amount of fear inflicting energy would need more than a single group of Avengers to take him down.
3. Black Adam
Very few have dared to cross the path of Black Adam. He has gone blow for blow with the Man of Steel. One would argue that Thor could give him a fight but his magical powers are even stronger than Thor and would be enough to take down the Hulk as well.
4. Reverse Flash
Eobard Thawne would be a hard nut to crack for the Avengers. His knowledge of the future tech would give Stark a headache and his speed would be no match for the likes of Hulk, Captain America, and even Quicksilver. He could Phase through anyone and even match Thor’s lightning powers.
5. Doomsday
Doomsday, the beast who killed Superman, was born and bred to be an instrument of destruction. He can’t fly but just like Hulk, he can jump and travel great distances. Attacking him only makes him stronger and he could take out Hulk with his stones and spikes on his body and the rest of the Avengers would be no match for Doomsday unless they find out the kryptonite to stop him.
6. Brainiac
Brainiac is an extra terrestrial Android who is always in search of things of great knowledge. He has captured numerous planets in order to increase his knowledge. When he comes to take out the earth, the mere mortals protecting the planet would not stand a chance.
7. Darkseid
The ruthless ruler of Apokolips, Darkseid, is a galactic tyrant whose only interest is ending all life in the universe. His key weapon is his Omega Beams, which he emits from his eyes. The Omega Beams and his strength and powers combined would just become impossible for the Avengers to bear.
8. Trigon
Trigon is one of the most powerful members of the DC universe. Trigon has drained the souls of millions from different worlds. Trigon could use a whole slew of his demonic powers to neutralize the Avengers, like energy projection, telepathy, super strength, virtual invulnerability, reality manipulation, and telekinesis.
